Myanmar Community Development Program

The Altalma Foundation is proud to provide strategic leadership, program management, and operational oversight for a long-term humanitarian partnership supporting vulnerable communities throughout Myanmar. Working alongside trusted local leaders, our programs focus on creating sustainable, community-led solutions that address both immediate needs and long-term resilience.
Our work supports four interconnected areas of impact:
• Food Security – Through the FedWell Foods program, millions of nutritious meals have been produced and distributed to children’s homes, schools, and communities affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises.
• Children & Education – We provide support for children’s homes, education, vocational training, and leadership development, helping young people build brighter futures and achieve long-term independence.
• Community Development – We partner with local leaders to strengthen communities through outreach initiatives, emergency relief, and sustainable capacity-building projects.
• Program Management & Accountability – Altalma provides strategic planning, financial oversight, governance, reporting, donor accountability, and coordination with international partners to ensure every dollar entrusted to the Foundation creates measurable, lasting impact.
Despite significant challenges, including political instability, natural disasters, and economic uncertainty, our commitment remains steadfast. Together with our partners, we continue to invest in sustainable programs that provide hope, strengthen local leadership, and improve the lives of thousands of children and families each year.
